Dr. Joseph Seymour

Dr. Joseph Seymour is a board-certified physician who specializes in caring for all patients with ear, nose, and throat diseases. He also has comprehensive experience in the head and neck surgery. He cares for patients of all ages, from infants to the geriatric population. Dr. Seymour is a native of the Detroit Metro area. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and received his medical doctorate at Wayne State University. He completed his residency at Wayne State University. He believes in a patient-centered approach to care and incorporates the latest evidence-based research into patient treatment plans. He values low complication rates and integrates the latest technology to provide the best outcomes, including nerve monitoring and stereotactic image guidance. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures to improve nasal airflow and sinusitis, including balloon sinus dilation. He is also an expert in a less invasive procedure to treat tonsil problems called intracapsular tonsillectomy, a safer and less painful approach to tonsil removal. He is an active American Academy of Otolaryngology member and current President of the Michigan Otolaryngology Society.
