Since graduating with honors from the Western Michigan University Physician Assistant program in 1993 Michelle Mardegian has been developing skills in all aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine, surgery, and patient care. Prior to attending PA school, Michelle realized her deep interest in the specialty while working at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor as a surgical technologist. Upon completing her studies at WMU she returned to work at the University of Michigan Medical Center. While in the Department of Otolaryngology, she first worked with Dr. Hoff.
She has served as chair of the continuing education committee and is a past president of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otolaryngology. She traveled to Honduras on a medical mission and has provided ENT specialty care to the uninsured in the Detroit area. Ms. Mardegian enjoys mentoring students and sharing her enthusiasm for her profession with others.
She pledges concern and devotion to each and every patient to provide the best care always, and when necessary in collaboration with other skilled providers and staff. Otherwise, whenever possible she is or is planning to be, on the boat in the middle of the lake with her dog and various family and friends.back
